st. anne's society
PURPOSE AND MEMBERSHIP
The purpose of the St Anne's Society is to work with the pastor to bring parishioners together, promote social and fundraising activities and represent the parish in the civic community. Any registered parishioner and/or spouse is welcome and automatically a member. There is no membership fee.
THANK YOU!
Thanks to all who attended the Fall Picnic last Sunday. It was a great afternoon, in spite of the very warm weather. Many attendees dined in the lovely interior of the Dollar house, while others chose to enjoy the evening in the garden. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the ambiance was joyful. Congratulations to all of the workers, especially the St Anne's Society board and the Baker family.
It is time to acknowledge the leadership of Joe Celucci and Mary Beth Hodge, who are retiring after several years of selfless energy and generous leadership. As you have heard mentioned, we have some new board members, as well as those staying on, but we still need a chief! Call Fr Leonard or one of the board members if you have any questions.
The Society is responsible for the many social and fundraising events that all parishioners and guests are welcome to enjoy all year. Not to mention that the Society just donated more than $18,000 as a result of the Bazaar and social events to various charities and St Anne's Church.
